Running a business can involve a lot of things and it is important that you as the owner can focus on things that are really important for your business’ success.
The business is your ship and you are the captain of it. The captain is responsible for many things and it can be navigating the ship, making sure that the ship is in good condition, and its crew is well organized. It can be overwhelming sometimes and as the captain, you have to make sure that you have razor-sharp focus on things that matter the most.
Delegating the minor tasks can help a lot so that you can stay focus on bigger things that’s why captains delegate their tasks to trusted and well-trained crew members just like any leader would do.
I, as your virtual assistant, will act as a trustworthy and responsible crew member and will make sure that you are free from distractions so that you can keep your focus and lead the ship well.
As your general virtual assistant, I will make sure to:
I understand that time is very important for business owners because there are always a lot of things to do. As your VA, I will always be mindful of my time and practice urgency with all tasks at hand without sacrificing the quality of the service.
As mentioned, time is vital for your business and I don’t want to take it by asking a lot of questions and by seeking help all the time. I am knowledgeable in using google search if I need to know something and I will only ask questions if it is really necessary.
You might need me to handle sensitive information at times and this is where being trustworthy comes in. As your trusted VA, I want to help you with your business and not add problems to it. Being trustworthy goes a long way and if you are not trustworthy to one person, then you are not trustworthy to the rest. I’d like to build a good relationship with my employer and it always starts with being trustworthy.
Keeping an open mind towards the job and in life, in general, lets me create a room in me to grow and become a better person. That is why I like reading books if I have spare time and it lets me develop myself to become better as time goes by.
I included this on the list because as your VA, I am aware that changes might occur at times and we will have to adapt to them. Having an open mind will keep me flexible if you need me to learn something new that can benefit your business.
Just like in looking for the perfect home, selling one can also be hard if you are not doing it right. You have to present your home to the right buyers and make sure that you are not wasting their time and yours as well.
To help you sell your home faster, I have laid out 5 simple steps that will surely help you and save you some time.
Keep it Clean and Maintained
It goes without saying that whatever you are selling should be presentable to potential buyers. No one wants a faulty and dirty space to live in. Just like you in the first place when you were still looking for a new home, buyers want a clean comfortable place to settle so you have to make sure that every corner of your house is properly cleaned and maintained.
Take a tour in your own home to make sure everything will be presented nicely and repair all those things that needs to be repaired. It will be easier for you if you put yourself in the buyer’s shoes so that you can better understand their needs and preferences.
Remove Personal Items
You have to understand that when prospective buyers come into your house, they will imagine themselves living in it and they will see if the house is suitable for them and their future plans. It is best that you remove family or personal pictures off the walls and corners of your house so that you can give room for your prospects to imagine themselves living in that place.
Removing personal items can give way to the prospect’s imagination to run through their minds and it triggers emotions. Emotion triggers most buyer’s decision!
Let There be Light
I have mentioned that you have to present the place to the buyers and that it should trigger their emotions. Each room in the house should be properly lit when prospects come in to check it. If one room can get an ample amount of natural light, make sure that it can get all of it.
You can only present your home to buyers if they are able to see the things that they will like. You should show them all of it!
Price it Right
Most of the time, there are a lot of properties for sale in an area and buyers will surely choose the property that is right for them and that is priced accordingly. Pricing is one factor that will help you get ahead in the competition so you should do your research or if you don’t have time, read the next one.
Seek Professional Help
Real estate agents are experienced in their fields. They can help you with the pricing and other things that involve marketing your property well. It’s an investment that will surely give you a good return when it comes to your time and energy.

Looking for a home that suits your preference is not as easy as shopping for things from stores or online. You will need to consider all factors that are important to you and your family prior to buying it because there is no turning back once the deal is done.
If you are a new home buyer or an experienced one, here are a few things that you can consider or simply just to remind you if you are looking for that new property. This will surely save you some time and from troubles when it comes to choosing your new home.
Do some research online
Looking for a new home can be time-consuming and tiring sometimes. We are now living in the 21st century and it comes with a lot of benefits. Instead of driving around a neighborhood searching for the perfect home and personally examining the location, you can save yourself some time and do other things that are more important for you by sitting in front of your computer and doing some research using the internet. There are now a lot of places that you can look online that will provide you with all the information you need for making that buying decision.
You can always remember the properties that match your interests before checking them out personally by doing the research first.
Location is Key
The location of your home plays vital importance for you and your family. If you have kids, you might want to consider the distance of your home from their school. You might also want a home that is close to a shopping center or a store where you can get all your needs so that it will be more convenient and comfortable for you.
This is one of the most common things that will affect your stay in your new home so it is very important to examine the location of the house from places that are important for you. As mentioned previously, you can do some research online for the property’s location.
Think Ahead
You cannot easily change some things as soon as you already purchased the property. Buying a new house is a long term investment and you have to consider a lot of things. Given that you have already considered the location, you also have to think in advance for some changes or situations in which your new home can suit you well.
If you have plans on adopting a pet or if you have elderly family members that might visit you from time to time in the future, it is always best that your home is well prepared and will be able to accommodate these plans.
Seek Professional Help
This tip will definitely apply to first time home buyers. If you have no or the least experience in buying a new home, it is best that you seek professional help from individuals who are trained and experienced in the real estate industry. Yes it will cost you some money and it can be expensive but it will save you tons of time and energy.
Real estate agents can help you look for the perfect home considering all the factors like the price, size, neighborhood, and other things that might be important for you.
Distinguish your needs from your wants
It surely is clear to you now that looking for a new home is not just a walk in the park. With all the things that we tackled so far, it should be clear by now that it involves planning because there are a lot of things that you should consider and prepare for. This is why this tip will be the last because it is important that you always know the things which are really important to you because you might not be able to find all the things that you want in a home.
It is important that you distinguish your needs from your wants because, in reality, you can’t have it all most of the time. Sometimes it is best to stick to the things that are really important for us (needs) by sacrificing some of the things that don’t really matter (wants).

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
