Running a business can involve a lot of things and it is important that you as the owner can focus on things that are really important for your business’ success.
The business is your ship and you are the captain of it. The captain is responsible for many things and it can be navigating the ship, making sure that the ship is in good condition, and its crew is well organized. It can be overwhelming sometimes and as the captain, you have to make sure that you have razor-sharp focus on things that matter the most.
Delegating the minor tasks can help a lot so that you can stay focus on bigger things that’s why captains delegate their tasks to trusted and well-trained crew members just like any leader would do.
I, as your virtual assistant, will act as a trustworthy and responsible crew member and will make sure that you are free from distractions so that you can keep your focus and lead the ship well.

I understand that time is very important for business owners because there are always a lot of things to do. As your VA, I will always be mindful of my time and practice urgency with all tasks at hand without sacrificing the quality of the service.

As mentioned, time is vital for your business and I don’t want to take it by asking a lot of questions and by seeking help all the time. I am knowledgeable in using google search if I need to know something and I will only ask questions if it is really necessary.
- Uphold honesty and integrity at all times
You might need me to handle sensitive information at times and this is where being trustworthy comes in. As your trusted VA, I want to help you with your business and not add problems to it. Being trustworthy goes a long way and if you are not trustworthy to one person, then you are not trustworthy to the rest. I’d like to build a good relationship with my employer and it always starts with being trustworthy.
- Keep an open mind
Keeping an open mind towards the job and in life, in general, lets me create a room in me to grow and become a better person. That is why I like reading books if I have spare time and it lets me develop myself to become better as time goes by.
I included this on the list because as your VA, I am aware that changes might occur at times and we will have to adapt to them. Having an open mind will keep me flexible if you need me to learn something new that can benefit your business.
